Selective clearing is basically the customer choosing what stays and what goes. Part of the appeal of the North Creek Mulching Process verses a heavy equipment clearing is the selectiveness in which you can clear an area. Our process is very eco-friendly and does not damage the root systems of neighboring tree so you can be even more selectively about what trees stay and what trees go.

5. What happens to the mulched by product from the North Creek mulching process?
Because mulching by-product makes a great natural erosion barrier, the by-product is left on the ground. The by-product can be mulched down into varying degrees of chip size. It is purely customer preference to how fine the erosion barrier is cut down to.

Heavy equipment is like bringing in the United States Military to do the job of local law enforcements. It will get the job done but it will be messy and disturbing to the indigenous eco-system. Heavy equipment works by ripping trees and brush completely out of the ground. Creating huge piles of debris for disposal which must be left to dry and then burned, with the remaining debris requiring labor-some sorting and more cost in hauling off fees.

Greater Atlanta, Georgia, and some surrounding States depending on the type of job.
